Thankful For Good Friends

She is the kind of friend that shows up with two bottles of wine, flowers, and a card that made me giggle on a very crappy week. I am so thankful for her friendship and what a blessing she has been in my Indiana life with no family around. Although I know it would be better with her family around, I am thankful for someone who understands the hardships of not being home when being home is all that is important to you at that moment in time. Love you Andrea. <3

Zoo Day

Went to the zoo today and he had a blast. I think it is funny that we go for the animals and he has so much more fun walking "curb balance beams", "climing cages", "racing people", and "drinking out of a cheap plastic animal cup". Oh well, at least there is plenty for me to look at. :)

Lessons

Giving my baby sister a lesson with her camera while giving my little dude a bike lesson. I did not take this picture, she did and I love it. I mean could this kid be seriously any more cuter! Look at those sweet cheeks and the way his smile moves to one side.

Movie Obsessions

The obsessions with the Dragons and Big Hero are absolutely hard core in this house. We have a movie buff. He would much rather watch an animated movie over a show. He acts it out the entire time he is watching. He even recites lines to us in our everyday world. Daddy and Ryder love to yell out at the top of their lungs, "WINNER BY TOTAL ANNIHILATION" ...... "YAMA!!!" Then they both giggle and Ryder usually says, "I got a robot, can I try". :)) It cracks me up that he loves these movies so much. 

Ryder Mommy Days

Disclaimer: I did not pick the outfit, I said it was going to be a little nicer out and he picked his jacket from last fall. Obviously we have grown a little bit taller since then. :)) Still not any wider, but hey one thing at a time.

Today we stayed home, Ms. Shirley had a personal day so Ryder and Mom had a day to themselves. There is something about a random day at home with him that is perfection. Today I was not feeling well so it was pretty low key, but we did have a lunch date at his favorite restaurant Moe's he loves to sit there and yell, "WELCOME TO MOES" when the employees do it. haha. He's a pretty cute lunch date if I say so myself.

Daddy and Baby Jellyfish

He is really into drawing right now, I love that the scribbles have turned into thought out drawings. They usually involve circles with what looks like an eye and legs. Tonight when I asked him what he was drawing he answered, "it's a daddy jellyfish and a baby jellyfish". I thought that was adorable because it actually looked like what he was drawing. :))

Dragon Hats

I walked into the room and saw him watching dragons like this. When I asked what was going on, he told me "nothing mom it's a dragon hat".
