What started as a successful 365 project turned into a way for me to share my family. I like to document the little things that mean so much to our family. Our story is simple and perfect. We are surrounded with love and blessings and although all posts are not always things to smile about it is our life and it is the journey god has given us. I am blessed to be part of this beautiful world and know that these simple everyday 'wonderfuls' will pave the way for a brighter future for my children.

**insert giggles**
He had to dress up for preschool today, and just for the ones who can't tell he is a dino {not an alligator, not a crocodile, not a dragon}. :) I stopped to take a quick pictures of the two of them. Evie was supposed to be a cat and I went to put the hat on her head and it was no where near fitting. #bigheadedkidsproblem This pictures is so LESS than perfect, but Ryder kept putting leaves on her head and she shot me this look. It makes me giggle everytime I see it. The goofy costume, the look, the spider on the face the leaf on the head, it's perfect.

Pretty Leaves, Pretty Girl
We were outside while brother was throwing leaves around and pretending to be a bear. This little miss was getting leaves in her face and not all that happy about it. She may not be too happy about it, but man she still looks cute. Love this beautiful beautiful girl.

... oh my.
This girl has absolutely stolen our hearts. She smiles, she talks to us, she loves her brother so much already. She is fun and makes us laugh.

Animal Obsessed
He has moved his love from dinosaurs to an absolute animal obsession. He is like an encyclopedia trying to suck up as much knowledge as he possibly can. He is constantly asking me "mom let's look this up on your phone and see what they eat". My favorite is when he tells me a fact and I ask him if he just made that up and he tells me to look it up and he is always right. Not sure where he gets all this information from but it is super cute to watch his excitement. This week most of the focus has been on bears. Grizzly and black bears seem to be his favorite. Today we made a cave (with a very makeshift sign :)). He played in there for hours. It's the little things I guess.

After Bath
I gave her a bath and came back to this sweet little relaxed profile. <3 That nose is just about the cutest thing I have ever seen.

Happy 8 Weeks Evie Gray
You are just about the sweetest thing to me. I love your morning smiles when you lay there naked for your 30 minutes while we let your medicine settle. I love the way you have found your little "coo" voice and you smile when a sound comes out. I love the way your smile is so exaggerated across your face. I love your chunky little thighs. I love the way you watch your brother and listen to him across the room. You are so sweet and I am so excited to watch you grow.

Being A Mom
The second one is different. I was head over heals for my little man, he made my world. He had horrible colic but he didn't stress me out. I wanted to stare at him twenty four hours a day. But... the second child is different. I am not sure if it is because I know she will most likely be my last, or if it is because she is a girl, or simply I have been through this before but man this is fun. Getting up a night is not nearly as stressful and I know phases like the evening screams are temporary. She is obsessed with me and really only wants me -- and quite frankly I am okay with that. Actually, I kind of love it. I am not saying I am not tired and would literally give a finger for a night of sleep but this is pretty wonderful. What is this spell babies put on us? How are we willing to give our entire being to them and (on most days) be okay with that? They are demanding and somedays never happy. We are exhausted and find it hard to find ourselves most days. But yet we are over the moon happy and think they are perfect.

My Two
Evie & Ryder. They are so stinking cute together. I can already tell she love him so. He gets the biggest smiles from her when he talks to her. I can only imagine what she thinks about all the animal sounds he makes at this girl. I was taking a 7 week photo of her when this little man jumped in and said he wanted to be in it. I pulled off his (not so picture ready) shirt and said, "what in the world". He informed me they were his "tattoos". Cracks me up. Tattoos and all this picture is pretty perfect.
