What started as a successful 365 project turned into a way for me to share my family. I like to document the little things that mean so much to our family. Our story is simple and perfect. We are surrounded with love and blessings and although all posts are not always things to smile about it is our life and it is the journey god has given us. I am blessed to be part of this beautiful world and know that these simple everyday 'wonderfuls' will pave the way for a brighter future for my children.

Things That Make You Go Hmm...
Let's start by saying she knows darn well she is to stay away from the stairs. I was in the other room and I hear "Uh. Oh. I stuck. I stuck." I asked her how she got up there and she put her hands in the air to show me "I don't know". I think I have a pretty good idea miss...

What's for dinner?
This is a common sight in our household now that she is big enough to stand and look into the refrigerator and do a point/grunt at what she wants. Usually it is the massive stack of string cheese sitting in there for her. When we hand her one she smiles really big and walks away like she just won an award.

Happy 6th Birthday Ryder
My sweet little boy... I don't even know where to start wit you. You are my heart. My first baby, the one who made me a mom. You have been patient with me and bless me daily with your sweet comments. Six years ago I held you in my arms for the first time and my whole world felt complete. Everything made sense. The time has gone way too fast like it always does, but I couldn't be more proud of who you are. I love your quirks, your smile, your imagination, your sweet hugs, your everything. As I tightly hugged you last night and refused to let you go -- you reminded me that, "mom I will be just as sweet when I'm 6". You will never quit understand the depths of how much you have brought to my life. Happy birthday little dude -- I hope the year ahead is simply perfect for you.

First Sleepover
Ryder had his first sleepover tonight and it was so much fun. They loved it and there were no tears on either end. So much fun watching them stay up late and be so excited to do everything. As a mom it was fun to watch them and remember back to my childhood of the mom's that made things more fun for us by adding little touches. Crazy to think we are at this point in life where I can still remember being this little and doing these things as a child.

"I don't know"
Because I don't want to forget this phase. When you ask her "where did it go" she responds with "go?" then her little hands go up and she gives you a shrug of the shoulder. Needless to say -- she get's asked this about 200 times a day.

Buns
Simply because baby butts are so dang perfect. As a mom I wonder if I will ever think it is not okay to smack and pinch their little dimpled butts.
