I Love You More Than Life Sweet Girl

Hiking

Such a fun day hiking with my crew. Full blown climbing rocks, wearing kids, and just enjoying some time outdoors together. It seems like this summer was so busy we didn't get to do it as much as we love to do. I am hoping as fall cooler weather comes we can get out more and enjoy this time. We are truly our best selves when we are outdoors and enjoying the views that god has given us. Days like today, remind me that my life is just absolutely filled with blessings. 

My Handsome Son

Oh sweet boy, you have a heart of gold and you are so handsome to top it off. You are growing up so fast, but I just love who you are and who you keep changing into. Thank you for letting me be your mama.

She practiced yelling “surprise” all day. I probably heard it 879 times. She was pumped up to throw balloons at Dad and yell it when he walked in. Of course she froze when he walked through the door. Then she looked at me like it was all my fault.

Cousins

 These two love to play together. We were blessed this summer to have the 3 bump buddies together for an entire week at our house. It was crazy, fun, exhausting, laughable, and full of love. These three are going to be so fun to watch do all the same things at all the same times in their lives.

Mr. Frog

Ryder caught this tiny guy today and I am not sure who was more excited, him or evie. Evie continually just kept saying "put him on my 'yegs' (legs)" as he would hop all over her legs she would giggle and do a quiet scream then ask for me to do it all over again. We finally let Ryder let him go and Miss Gray continued to ask for "Mr. Frog" all night.

Beach Day

  

We didn't do a big trip this summer so we are just trying to take a bunch of smaller trips. Today we ended in Michigan City to play in the water and sand for a bit. We went with Aunt Amy & Porter and the day was just what we needed.

Chicago Weekend

Such a beautiful day today at the Brookfield Zoo visiting all the animals and spending time with each other. This weekend has been a perfect way to connect and be together for a cause.
