We are entering new territory over the next year together. This four year old and I have been best friends for awhile now and we know how exactly each other works and when we need our own time to breathe. I am so excited to introduce a sibling to him but nervous to lose a piece of our friendship together. I am SO very thankful for these last four years and would not do anything differently if I could. Time getting to know this child has irreplaceable. Our bond together will hopefully be one that carries on for a lifetime. He is my boy, my heart, has been my reason for trying to be the best me over the last four and a half years.
